Which is to say if like Harriet Wheeler's voice, you'll find this a treat - from the gorgeous a cappella version of Neil Young's After The Gold Rush to the bouncy Lady From A Small Town. Nice folk-rock guitar for the era and great harmonies/5(5).

2. Prelude is really singer Irene Hume,the name needed to look them up on otherwise you get a thousand pieces of classical music. The male members are her brother Brian Hume and Ian Vardy and this LP is a collection of originals in the folk rock idiom plus 2 covers in Roy Orbison's "Only The Lonely" and Neil Young's "After The Goldrush",an accapella treatment which gave them a hit single.

Prelude's second album is a beautiful folk-rock-cum-country work, with radiant singing and some beautiful melodies among the original songs — some of the lyrical content may seem a bit simplistic, but the record is pretty enough to overcome that minor /5(5).
